Visiting the Pumpkin Patch 10-25-09

We took Zoie to the Pumpkin patch on Sunday. It was our 6 year anniversary and a wonderful way to spend it...with the family.

We told Zoie to pick out a pumpkin from this bin and she picked out the only thing in the bin that wasn't a pumpkin...it was squash. She always makes us laugh.

Zoie Loves to ride in the wagons. She is such a "cheeser" when it comes to taking pictures.

Zoie's New Cozy Coupe

House Update: We are moving in SOON! We have passed all of our inspections. Our water is being turned on today for the second time (hopefully there won't be any leaks...there was a leak in the pipe from the main line to our house and we had to replace it). We have 2 more coats of poly to put on the downstairs floor and then it is cleaning and moving time. Hopefully this weekend we will get stuff moved in. We are very excited and will be so happy to have our ow
n space back.

WE HAVE COUNTERTOPS!!!!!

I am so excited to be posting today...Our new quartz counter tops were put in yesterday! I am very satisfied with the way they turned out.

We were waiting for a replacement cabinet before the counters could be installed and that is why this pic has a cabinet with a missing door.

Now she is showing off the counters like my own little model! She was also saying Cheese for the pictures. She is so Adorable!

Cabinets are all set except the Island!

Here are all the wall cabinets now on...Yay! They look very nice and I am very happy with how it has turned out.

Here is all the cardboard from the cabinets. It fills the back laundry room area. Cabinets, cabinets, and more cabinets.

Zoie loved to play between all of the cabinets.

All the beautiful base cabinets are screwed into place except for the island. Rob is going to try to put the wall cabinets on today...it is Glorious!

The island is kind of in place but not exactly where it will be. We had a couple of problems with cabinets being damaged and we need to get those things taken care of before we can completely finish.

Zoie has not been feeling well for about a week now...she has had an ear infection and the right one was severe. No pics lately but here are some from her Birthday (which I know was back on New Year's Eve.) I am not very good at this blogging thing...or keeping up with it anyways. Here is the cupcakes that everyone got to eat. We had a Sesame Street theme...one of Zoie's favorite shows.

Here is Zoie eating her very own personal Elmo Cake. And she loves it!

Zoie opening her gifts...she really liked the bags because they were lots of fun and very easy to open.

She could get very expensive when she gets older because she LOVES clothes now.

Zoie got an American Girl Doll Bitty Baby for Christmas and she just adores it. She got the chair from Grandma and Grandpa Z and she loves it too.

With all of the busyness of the Holidays and Zoie's birthday done I am finally getting back into the normal routine of things. I need to sort through the pics and pick out some of my favorites to post. As for Zoie, she continues to amaze and amuse us every day. Aunt Chris says, "God put a little extra silly in her for us!" She is a ham and she always has us laughing. Don't get me wrong she does have her temper tantrum moments but the silliness makes those moments bearable.

Below is a pic of Zoie putting her clothes on her head and walking around and she will laugh while she does it.

Crazy busy!

Well, I haven't posted in awhile and I have lots of pictures but no time. We have been busy getting ready for the holidays and I haven't even loaded the pictures onto the computer yet. We plan to send out Christmas cards but they may be late because we couldn't get in for pictures till now and I had to have pictures to send. We are all doing well. Zoie just got over a cold but she did really well while she had it. She got her flu shot the other day and she didn't shed a tear, only a little whine. She is so good. She amazes me everyday. She is just adorable and she is a ham. She is always cracking us up. We will be celebrating a 1st birthday soon and we are getting ready for that too. Merry Christmas!

Loving the Teddy Bear

The Teddy Bear is about as big as she is but she tries to carry it around with her anyways. She loves to give the bear hugs. She is getting so big. Some of her favorite things to do are to read books, watch Sesame Street and Doodlebops, and to dance to music.

Zoie was carrying books around all night. She kept bringing them to her dad. She wanted him to read them to her and then she wanted to read them to him. She would babble and he would turn the pages for her. I think she just needed a little daddy time.

Zoie was sitting in the floor today and she was putting both arms straight back behind her. It was so goofy. We started calling her Super Zoie and she just keeps doing it more. She is now walking around with her arms behind her. I tried to get a good photo but here is what I came up with.

Zoie played forever in her car seat. She climbed in and out several times. It kept her busier than a lot of her toys. She even posed for some pictures.

Here are some pictures of Pumpkinfest. Zoie had a great time. She loves to watch all the other kids.

Our little bumblebee helped grandma Tina on her game... She had the bean bag bee hive toss. Soie enjoyed giving the bean bags to the kids who were in line to play the game.

We took Zoie to the pumpkin patch on Oct 25th. It was our 5th aniversary. We had a wonderful timeand our little love muffin had to pat all of the big pumpkins and eat all of the little ones. She had a great time.

Well, this is my first blog. I hope that it works right. I thought that this might be a good way to keep family and friends updated on Zoie and the rest of the family. Here are some pics of Zoie.

Zoie LOVES to eat Sweet corn right off the cob and don't dare take it away otherwise you will hear about it. She also likes to eat fresh green beans.
